Everything you need to prepare for your journey.
We've got you covered from your first passport application to your last day abroad. Use this guide to get ready, stay safe, and make the most of your experience.
Before you go
Four things every student needs to handle before departure day.
Getting Your Passport
If this is your first international trip, you'll need a U.S. passport. The process takes 6–8 weeks (or 2–3 weeks with expedited service), so start early. We'll walk you through every step.
Health & Vaccinations
Depending on your destination, certain vaccinations may be recommended or required. We partner with local health clinics to help students access affordable travel vaccines and any necessary medications.
Money & Budgeting
Most meals, lodging, and activities are covered by the program. You'll want a small amount of spending money for souvenirs and personal items. We'll share destination-specific guidance before departure.
Safety & Emergency Protocols
Your safety is our top priority. Every trip has at least two adult chaperones, a 24/7 emergency contact line, and a detailed safety plan. Students and families receive a full briefing before departure.
